An extremely common requirement during deployment (CI/CD or conventional) is the update of adapter connections.

While webMethods Deployer does support this, the handling is not exactly trivial. As an alternative, there is a small program from JahnTech that is easier to handle.

Counters seem to be a trivial, if not boring, technical detail. You can implement them as a database sequence, a simple text file, or in a myriad of other ways.
